Phantom Jump
A downloadable game for Windows
A common childhood activity during boring car rides was it to imagine oneself running along the car and doing fantastical moves. In this case "Phantom Jump" challenges you to jump from obstacle to obstacle and avoid touching the ground. Let's see how high your score will be!
The concept was first developed during the first semester of the course of study "Game Design & Development" at the Macromedia. The game itself was created during a semester abroad, at the SIT, Invercargill.

HOW TO PLAY
W or Up-Arrow key (on obstacle) = Jump up
W or Up-Arrow key (on air) = Jump up
S or Down-Arrow key (in air) = Dive down
If W or Up-Arrow key is pressed after touching an obstacle's surface right after having pressed S or Down-Arrow key (in air) then (if correctly timed) the executed jump will be higher.
Esc = opens/closes Pause Menu during gameplay
Mouse & Left-Mouse-Button = Navigation and Selection in the Menus
P.S.: You can skip the transition between main menu and game by clicking the Left-Mouse-Button.

Install instructions
This game can only be played on a PC/laptop. There is no browser option (yet). To be able to play, first, please download the game. Then open up your downloads folder where you will find the ZIP file "PhantomJump". Extract its contents and open the .exe file named "Phantom Jump". At last you should be able to play.

Fun game! Very addicting. I made it my mission to get 100m. Took quite a few more tries than I'd like to admit. Going from very low to very high was quite the feat, the few times I managed to pull it off. I blame the flower pot!
